Sanctuary Chief's Camp is a luxury camp situated on Chief's Island in the exclusive Mombo Concession of the Moremi Game Reserve. This area is known as the 'predator capital of Africa' and is also home to large herds of elephant and buffalo, making Sanctuary Chief's the ideal place to experience African wildlife at close hand.

The 12 guest pavilions are hidden away in a jackalberry and sausage tree woodland that is characteristic of the area. The main deck area is split-level and offers expansive views over the floodplain while the lower level of the deck houses an exquisite swimming pool.

Additional Activities

Helicopter flights over the delta - These scenic flights involve flying west of the game drive routes towards the permanent delta, exposing to guests areas which are unreachable by vehicle or boat. Guests have the option of the doors being removed for unrestricted photographic opportunities. This is done with the utmost consideration to guest safety. The activity highlights the shear enormity of the Okavango Delta exposing the many animal species of the region.

Treatment room - Guests at Sanctuary Chief's are able to enjoy a range of spa treatments. Treatments include products from the Africology line and guests are able to choose from a range of body therapies, body rituals and facial skin care treatments.

Rooms

The 12 guest pavilions are hidden away in a jackalberry and sausage tree woodland that is characteristic of the area. All have their own private decks and outdoor showers, as well as fully-equipped bathroom inside as well as a spacious outdoor shower for the adventurous. Generously draped mosquito nets and traditional ceiling fans, hairdryers,  in-room safe, emergency hand held radios and a well stocked minibar.
