Rooms
The Palace lavishes its guests with 5-star
service, and is luxurious in every detail. All four suites are
breathtakingly opulent. From the distinctive grandeur of the
African Suite to the unforgettable King Suite, resplendent in its
maple paneling, delicately frescoed ceilings and stunning panoramas
over the Lost City. Each exquisite suite revels in the magic
of this remarkable place. Here and there, artistic flourishes burst
with life. Each room and suite offers royal hospitality with
wonderful views over water or jungle. All benefit from a personal
touch.
The Palace has 338 rooms inclusive of four deluxe suites.
The Cascades - All 243 elegant air-conditioned
rooms and suites enjoy spectacular views over the gardens to the
golf course and bushveld hills beyond. In the luxury twin and
luxury family rooms, the entire bathroom was reconstructed and
enlarged. Amenities now include a separate large shower cubicle
which provides an intimate and private experience and a separate
bath that is the ideal place to unwind. The bathrooms have
double vanity units and are somewhat larger than standard hotel
bathrooms. The luxury rooms at the Cascades Hotel were also
given the ultra-superior treatment. Each room has its own dressing
room with built in dressing table, cupboards and shoe racks. The
furnishings have also been upgraded and are a tapestry of the
verdant gardens and tranquil beach pool area.
Sun City Hotel - The Sun City Cabanas has a
total of 380 rooms. The Sun City Cabanas are built on two levels
with rooms on the ground floor and first floors. The rooms are
located in seven "blocks" situated around the main reception and
restaurant area.
The Cabanas - All the 380 rooms now offer
modern up market décor and a retro design with a European feel. The
rooms have been restyled in muted hues of glorious pinks and aqua
greens. The white cotton linen duvets enhance the fresh feel of the
rooms and allow for a more casual style. Guests can
choose between standard and luxury Cabanas rooms, all of which are
fully air-conditioned and equipped with quality flat screen TV's
with selected DSTV channels, tea and coffee making facilities and
electronic safes and telephones. A major bonus for families is the
mini refrigerator, which is ideal for storing baby bottles, milk
and beverages. Standard Cabanas offer a shower-en-suite,
whilst their luxury counterparts feature a full bathroom.
