Zanzibar, Indian Ocean
Discover sheer, unpretentious paradise on this private island,
shared with just a handful of other guests and warm, friendly
staff. Relax and unwind in the exclusivity of your own little
beachfront haven, where simple yet luxurious bandas peep out onto
unblemished sands from the dappled shade of the casuarina pine
forest.
Set on a private island off the north eastern tip of Zanzibar,
Mnemba Island Lodge offers guests the perfect destination to get
away from it all. With just ten palm-frond guest bandas on the
entire island, the only intrusion may be a silent visit from a
curious suni antelope or two at sundown. The balmy blue waters of
this barefoot paradise invite you to explore the surrounding Indian
Ocean.
Additional Activities
A variety of diving courses and deep-sea fishing is available at
an additional charge.
Rooms
There are only Ten Zanzibari bandas, each with direct access to
the beach. Each banda is built of indigenous materials, mostly
woven and thatched with palm leaves. The bandas have ensuite
bathrooms with shower, double-basins, separate w.c., fresh water
(obtained from a desalination plant), ceiling fans, personal bar
and a spacious outdoor veranda. Each banda also has a private beach
sala with traditional Zanzibari sunbeds.
