Kenya and Tanzania Explorer

Day 1-3: Meru

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met and transferred with fellow guests to Wilson Airport.  Upon arrival at Wilson Airport, you will board your AirKenya Aviation flight to Meru Airstrip. Upon arrival at Meru Airstrip, you will be welcomed by a representative of Elsa's Kopje who will transfer you with fellow guests to the camp.

Spend 3 nights at Elsa's Kopje in a room with ensuite bathroom with bath and shower. Your stay includes accommodation, three meals daily, soft drinks, beer, housewine, non-luxury spirits, day & night game drives (excluding KWS fee for night game drives), bush meals, sundowners, line fishing (Catfish & Barbel), local airstrip transfers and laundry service.

Day 4-6: Amboseli

You will be collected Elsa's Kopje and be driven with fellow guests to Meru Airstrip, where you will board your scheduled Airkenya flight to Amboseli. Upon arrival at Amboseli Airstrip, you will be welcomed by a representative of Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge and driven with fellow guests to the lodge.

Spend 3 nights at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge in a standard room with ensuite bathroom. Your stay includes breakfast, lunch and dinner and scheduled activities.

Day 7-9: Masai Mara

You will be collected from Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge and be driven with fellow guests to Amboseli Airstrip.  Upon arrival at Amboseli Airstrip, you will board your Safarilink flight to Kichwa Airstrip.  Upon arrival at Kichwa Airstrip, you will be welcomed and driven to Kichwa Masai Mara Tented camp.

Spend 3 nights at Kichwa Tembo Masai Mara Tented Camp in a luxury safari tent with ensuite bathroom with shower only. Your stay includes accommodation, teas and coffees and emergency medical evacuation insurance.

Day 10: Arusha

You will be transferred to the Kichwa airstrip for your Safarilink flight to Wilson Airport. Upon arrival at Wilson Airport you will board your onward flight with Safarilink to Kilimanjaro International airport where you will continue on your onward flight on Tanganyika Flying Company flight to Arusha Airport.  Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, you will met and transferred to the Arusha Coffee lodge.

Spend 1 night at Arusha Coffee Lodge in a chalet. Your stay includes bed and breakfast.

Day 11-12: Tarangire

You will be collected from the Arusha Coffee lodge and be driven with fellow guests to Arusha Airport.  Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, you will board your Coastal Aviation flight to Kuro airstrip.   Upon arrival at Kuro Airstrip, you will be welcomed by a member of Tarangire Tree Tops and driven with fellow guests to the Camp.

Spend 2 nights at Tarangire Tree Tops in a tent with ensuite bathroom. Your stay includes accommodation, all meals, laundry, all drinks (excluding champagne, exclusive cellar wines, cognacs, single malt whiskeys), transfers from Kuro airstrip, daytime game drives, night drives and game walks.

Day 13: Lake Manyara

You will be transferred to the Kuro for your Coastal Aviation flight to Manyara Airstrip (Departure: 14:00 Arrival: 14:25)  Upon arrival at Manyara Airstrip, you will be welcomed and driven with fellow guests to Lake Manyara Tree Lodge (approx. 3 and a half hour road transfer).

Overnight at Lake Manyara Tree Lodge for 1 night in an elegant stilted treehouse with ensuite bathroom with bath, outdoor shower and viewing deck. Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas and coffees, scheduled safari activities, refreshments on game drives and laundry.

Day 14-15: Ngorongoro

You will be collected at Lake Manyara Tree Lodge and driven with fellow guests to the Manyara Airstrip  (approx. 3 and a half hour road transfer).  Upon arrival at Manyara Airstrip, you will be welcomed and driven with fellow guests to Ngorongoro Crater lodge. (approx. 1 and a half hour road transfer).

Spend 2 nights at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge in a suite with ensuite bathroom with bath and shower. Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas and coffees, scheduled safari activities, refreshments on game drives and laundry.

Day 16-18: Serengeti

You will be collected at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge and driven with fellow guests to Manyara Airstrip.  (approx. 1 and a half hour road transfer).  Upon arrival at Manyara Airstrip, you will board your Coastal Aviation flight to Kogatende Airstrip. (Departure: 13:05 Arrival: 14:50)  Upon arrival at Kogatende Airstrip, you will be welcomed and driven with fellow guests to Serengeti Under Canvas.

Overnight for 3 nights at Serengeti Under Canvas in a Bedouin style tent with ensuite bathroom with outside bucket shower. Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas and coffees, scheduled safari activities, refreshments on game drives and laundry.

Day 19: Depart

You will be transferred to the Kogatende airstrip for your Tanganyika Flying Company flight to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward flight on Safarilink to Wilson Airport. (Departure: 10:50 Arrival: 14:45).  Upon arrival at Wilson Airport you will be met and transferred to the Nairobi International airport for your onward flight.
