Day 1: Nairobi

Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met and transferred to the House of Waine.

Kenya's capital is one of the largest and most influential cities in Africa, an important commercial and financial regional hub. It is the port of entry for most travellers to Kenya and offers bustling markets, interesting history and numerous attractions. Named after a Maasai watering hole, "enkare nyarobi", which means "place of cool waters", Nairobi is known for its leafy streets and parks. The skyline, with towering skyscrapers and imposing architecture also draws one's attention soon after arriving in the city. Not-to-be-missed are visits to the city's beautiful Uhuru Park and an informative excursion to the Karen Blixen Museum.

Overnight at the House of Waine. Accommodation is in a beautiful room with an ensuite bathroom. Your stay includes breakfast.

Day 2-4: Masai Mara

After a scrumptious breakfast you will be collected and driven to Wilson Airport where you will board your scheduled flight to Kichwa Airstrip. From the airstrip, you will experience your first game drive on your way to Bateleur Camp.

The Masai Mara is Kenya's most renowned game park, situated in the northern extension of the Serengeti. Its legendary Great Migration, of over two million wildebeest and other antelope, has been described as one of nature's greatest wildlife spectacles - and an experience every safari enthusiast should witness at least once in their lifetime. Game viewing in this celebrated park is wonderful all round the year, with virtually guaranteed sightings of the Big Five. The park takes its name from the Mara River, which flows through the reserve, and the Maasai people, a tribe whose red dress and proud demeanour have ensured they are probably Kenya's best-known (and most-photographed) people.

Overnight for three nights at Bateleur Camp. Accommodation is in a luxurious safari tent raised on a wooden platform, with a private veranda.  Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas and coffees, emergency medical evacuation insurance, laundry, daily lodge activities.  Adventures include twice-daily game drives in open game 4x4 safari vehicles, night drives on the camp's concession, guided nature walks with a Maasai naturalist and sundowners at a secret location that boasts spectacular views across the Mara.  Maasai community visits and hot air ballooning are also available at an additional cost.

Day 5-6: Samburu

After a tantalising breakfast feast you will be driven to the airstrip where you will board your scheduled flight to Samburu. Upon your arrival you will be met by a representative from Sasaab Camp who will drive you to the camp.

The best feature of Samburu is not the wildlife or the picturesque surroundings, but the fact that it is one of the lesser-visited regions in Kenya. The peaceful atmosphere and the authentic wilderness experience set it apart from the better-known wildlife reserves in Kenya. Situated on the banks of the Ewaso Ngíro River, with its palm groves and dense forests, there is plentiful wildlife and the bird watching is especially good. The rest of the reserve is fairly hot and semi-arid, making for easy game viewing.

Overnight for two nights at Sasaab Camp. Accommodation is in a beautiful room with a lovely ensuite bathroom, private pool and open veranda. Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, wines, beers, local spirits, bottled water, laundry and daily activities.  Adventures include game drives, guided walks, informative cultural excursions and camel walks.

Day 7-9: Chyulu Hills National Park

Tuck into a scrumptious breakfast before your drive back to the airstrip where you will board your private chartered flight to the Tsavo west airstrip. Upon your arrival you will be met by a representative from Ol Donyo Wuas who will drive you to the lodge.

Tucked away in between the renowned Tsavo West and Amboseli National Parks, the striking and diverse landscapes of the Chyulu Hills National Park are a must-see whilst journeying through Kenya. The park includes a collection of ancient volcanic cinder cones and craters, with the most recent volcanic peak forming just 500 years ago. It is also home to the longest lava tube in the world. Visitors will delight in the breathtaking vistas of Mt Kilimanjaro and the wonderful selection of game that includes buffalo, antelope, elephant, leopard, wildebeest and zebra. The West Chyulu Game Conservation area can be found in the park and is owned by several Maasai groups, while in the south-west corner of the park lies the birdwatcher's paradise of Lake Jipe.

Overnight for three nights at Ol Donyo Wuas. Accommodation is in a charming cottage with a spacious ensuite bathroom. Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, beer, house wine, laundry and daily activities.  Adventures include game drives, guided walks, horseback safaris and Masai cultural visits.

Day 10: Depart

Enjoy an early morning game-drive and breakfast before your drive back to the airstrip where you will board your scheduled flight to Wilson Airport.
