Best of Big 5
Londolozi, Camp Jabulani
Arguably the best leopard experience around, Londolozi lives up to it's exceptional lodging and big 5 safari experience. Camp Jabulani is a unique experience offering game drives and bush walks in big 5 territory, but what sets it apart is their amazing elephant experience. "Experience the extraordinary impact of interacting personally with these massive and magnificent animals on daily elephant rides (the only night safari in the world!), around the waterhole as they swim and play, and in the natural habitat surrounding their stables"

We have drawn on the considerable wisdom, talent and experience of our guiding teams, and returned to the original spirit of fun and wild adventure of a Safari to Africa. Our emphasis in 2010 and beyond is to redefine the essence of the 'photographic safari experience' by creating still greater opportunities for engagement and experience. Furthermore we aim to continually push the boundaries of fun, adventure, excitement and fulfilment throughout your safari adventure at Londolozi. With over 16 000 hectares of traversing wilderness, no two game drives are ever the same. Trackers sit up at the front of the Land Rover looking for fresh animal tracks, while rangers drive with astonishing skill through ravines and thickets in pursuit of elusive animals. And all the while wowing guests with their outstanding knowledge and unforgettable stories. Tree Camp embodies the very essence of Londolozi's continuous striving to transcend and redefine the journey to the wilderness. This is a place of connoisseurship, leopards, orchids, lanterns and lead wood trees. Guests spend lazy afternoons on their decks, champagne in hand as they survey the ancient landscape, elephants feeding below in the river.

Camp Jabulani is a perfect translation of the African bush, seamlessly blending classic and elegant interiors (fit for princes and kings, but warm enough to make the most "down-to-earth" feel completely at home) with the natural bush beyond. A camp of and within the elements. The camp is built along the bank of a seasonal stream. An open-plan dining room and lounge merge with the wooden deck which lies in the shade of gigantic leadwood trees (around which the main facility was constructed). An impressive suspension bridge connects these living areas with the suites which lie scattered beyond the river bed. The sole objective of the team of professionally skilled and personable staff is to meet the needs of their valued guests. To indulge, spoil, pamper and entertain. But most importantly - to share with them the story and the experience of the elephants.
