Day 1-2: Pretoria
On arrival in Johannesburg, you will be met and driven 1 hour in a private vehicle to Pretoria's Capital Park Station. Board Rovos Rail and spend 2 amazing nights in a deluxe cabin watching beautiful South Africa glide by while enjoying excellent food and beverages. A visit to Kimberleys. Big Hole & diamond museum and the historical town of Matjiesfontein allow you to strtch your legs and enjoy some culture and history along the way. You journey includes accommodation, meals and excursions during the train journey, as well as alcoholic beverages whilst on board the train.
For many visitors to South Africa, there is no finer way to see the country than on the popular 48-hour weekly journeys between Pretoria and Cape Town. This 1600-kilometre journey is a perfect illustration of South Africa as a world in one country. Travel the grasslands of the gold-rich Highveld to the haunting barrenness of the Great Karoo. Trundle through the spectacular mountain ranges and scenic wine lands of the Cape. Journey's end is Cape Town, the Mother City of South Africa, cradled by the imposing bulk of Table Mountain, Devil's Peak and Lions Head. Highlights of the north and southbound routes include a visit to the historic village of Matjiesfontein. This authentic perfectly preserved Victorian Village, which was founded by Mr Logan as a refreshment stop in 1890, also boasts an impressive museum on the platform. A stop is also made in Kimberley providing an opportunity to enjoy a city tour and a visit to the Diamond Mine Museum and the world's largest man-made excavation, the Big Hole
Day 3-5: Cape Town
You will arrive at Platform 24, Cape Town Station at approximately 06:00pm. You wil be met and drive in a private vehicle to Kensington Place.
Spend 3 nights at the stunning Kensington Place in a superior room including breakfast.

Day 6-7: Hermanus
A Group C vehicle will be delivered to Kensington Place at a time convenient to you.
Drive 1 hour 30 minutes to the picturesque town or Hermanus and begin your Garden Route experience. Spend 2 nights at Ocean's Eleven Guest House in a deluxe room including breakfast.

Day 8-10: Knysna
Continue along the coast and enjoy a leisurely 4 hour drive to the popular Garden Route town of Knysna. Spend 3 nights at the highly recommended Kanonkop Guest House in the Paradise Suite Inclusive of breakfast and all local beverages.

Day 11-14: Kwandwe Private Game Reserve
Drive 3 hours along the Garden Route to Kwandwe Private Game Reserve.
Spend 4 nights at Kwandwe Great Ecca Lodge and only pay for 3 nights! Situated along South Africa's eastern coastline is the Eastern Cape province, renowned for being a world-class, malaria-free safari destination. In the heart of the Eastern Cape is &Beyond Kwandwe Private Game Reserve, a conservation victory boasting 22 000 hectares (54 400 acres) of former farmland that has been restored and restocked with wildlife. This pristine wilderness area is home to Africa's Big Five, and is the perfect start or end to a journey along the breathtakingly beautiful Garden Route. Situated on rolling slopes overlooking a beautiful spekboom, acacia and aloe-studded valley with a backdrop of steep shale cliffs, the views are breathtaking, particularly when the spekboom trees are in bloom. Six suites of inventive architecture feature walls of wood panelling interspersed with mesh-covered stone gabion, and pagoda-style corrugated iron roofs. The suites are extremely spacious, with generously proportioned living rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms. Glass doors slide back, leaving gauze doors to admit the cool inviting breezes and fragrances of the bushveld. Wraparound wooden decks lead out from the sitting rooms and bedrooms, to private plunge pools and outdoor showers.
Day 15-17: Durban
Drive 1 hour to Port Elizabeth Airport and drop off the vehicle. Depart Port Elizabeth on South African Airways flight SA1335 at 03:10pm and arrive in Durban at 04:30pm.
Collect your Group C vehicle at the Airport and drive 30 minutes to the Umhlanga Rocks.Spend 3 nights at the Oyster Box Boutique Hotel and only pay for 2! Accommodation is in a classic sea facing room and includes breakfast.
Perfectly situated on the ocean's edge, a brief 5 minutes walk from Umhlanga Village Centre, the Oyster Box Hotel is conveniently located for quick and easy access to Durban city centre, International Airports and numerous stylish shopping centres…yet has a feeling of classical charm and elegance like nowhere else on earth.

Day 18: Depart
Drive 30 minutes to Durban Airport and drop off the vehicle.
