Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be met and transferred to Arusha Coffee Lodge for the first night of your safari.  Accommodation is in a standard chalet and your stay includes breakfast

This attractive little town is situated beneath the towering peaks of Mt. Meru and Kilimanjaro. Arusha, renowned as the safari capital of Tanzania, offers a plethora of attractions and adventures. The town has numerous first-class restaurants, bars and markets to browse, and is the ideal place to spend a few relaxing days before embarking on a safari or attempting to scale Kili. Not-to-be-missed is the Arusha National Park (in Ngurdoto Crater), the National Natural History Museum, the Laetoli Footprints (set in volcanic ash, dating back 3 500 000 years) and the beautiful coffee plantations, which dot the landscape.

Day 2-4: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast you will be driven to Arusha Airport where you will board your scheduled flight to your choice of Klein's Camp or Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp.

Klein's Camp

Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp

Accommodation is in a luxurious tent.  Your stay is on a full board basis and includes scheduled activities and park fees. Activities include game drives in the Serengeti National Park.

The Serengeti National Park, meaning "endless plains" in the Masai language, is undoubtedly one of the world's most celebrated wilderness areas and is an ongoing source of inspiration to writers, filmmakers and photographers. It is Tanzania's oldest game reserve, renowned for the part it plays in the annual Great Migration, when an estimated three million antelope; mostly wildebeest, migrate to Kenya's Masai Mara Game Reserve. This epic, seasonal journey is a deeply moving experience and a wonderful photographic subject. Here visitors to the park can roam its sprawling plains on exhilarating game drives or hop into a hot-air balloon ride for an once-in-a-lifetime wilderness adventure. The Serengeti National Park is also home to the Olduvai Gorge, where groundbreaking archaeological discoveries have been made, as well as the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater - a World Heritage Site.

Day 5-6: Ngorongoro

Enjoy an early morning game drive and breakfast before being driven back to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to the Manyara Airstrip.  Upon landing you will be met and transferred to Ngorongoro Crater Lodge where you will stay for the next two nights.

Accommodation is in a sumptuous suite. Each suite is discreetly tended by a personal butler. Your stay includes three meals daily, scheduled activities, laundry, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits, park and crater fees.  Activities include game drives on the crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area, within the Serengeti is home to more than 30 000 protected animals. It is an area of spectacular beauty and excellent game viewing, a truly unique safari destination in Africa. The Ngorongoro Crater, once a gigantic volcano, is the largest intact caldera in the world. Some maintain that before it erupted, it would have been higher than Mt Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. Today, long since having collapsed and eroded, it is an extensive highland area with the famous 600 metre deep Ngorongoro Crater as its focal point. Nearly three million years old, the ancient caldera shelters one of the most beautiful wildlife havens on earth. Fresh springs and a large soda lake quench the thirst of all the inhabitants. Black rhino are protected within its rim, giant tusked elephants wander the forests, black-maned lions stalk the grasslands, and flamingos crowd the soda lakes.

Day 7-10: Mnemba Island

After breakfast, depart by road to Manyara Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar Airport.  Upon landing you will be met by and assisted onto a vehicle for your road and then boat transfer to Mnemba Island.

The pristine white beaches of Mnemba Island, surrounded by deep blue ocean combine to make this intimate island a private tropical paradise. While the dazzling sands and brilliant sunshine invite visitors to spend idle hours on shore, magnificent coral reefs create an underwater wonderland that lures guests to explore the warm, crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean. Scores of snorkelling and diving sites form a gateway to a world of incredible sea creatures. Set off the northern tip of Zanzibar and surrounded by a coral atoll, Mnemba is home to a staggering diversity of marine life. In an effort to protect and preserve these precious ecosystems, the Zanzibar government and the local fishing communities have had the atoll and its surroundings proclaimed the Mnemba Island Marine Conservation Area.

Spend four nights at Mnemba Island Lodge. Accommodation is in a Zanzibari-themed banda with en-suite bathroom.  Your banda has a private sala and direct access to the beach. Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas and coffees, emergency medical evacuation insurance, laundry and daily lodge activities.
