Day 1-2: The Elephant Camp, Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Arrive in Victoria Falls under your own arrangements. You
will be met on arrival and driven to the lodge.
Only 10 minutes from the Falls: 2 complimentary transfers to and
from the Falls each day.
The panoramic views of the Falls are breathtaking from the
central area and the west wing of camp whilst the Batoka gorge
yawns before one from the rooms in the east wing. The Elephant camp
is situated only 10 minutes from Victoria Falls in a private
concession within the Victoria Falls National Park.
The suites are all equipped with indoor and outdoor showers,
huge baths, private lounges, mini bar and tea/coffee stations,
overhead fans plus air conditioning and are all mosquito proofed.

Day 3-4: Ngoma Safari Lodge, Chobe, Botswana
You will be collected from the lodge and driven across borders
to Chobe, Botswana.
Situated in northern Chobe, Botswana, within the Chobe Forest
Reserve. Ngoma Safari Lodge is 55 km from the nearest town, Kasane,
and 135 km from the magnificent Natural Wonder of Victoria Falls.
Your own exclusive river-facing suite offers a quiet refuge and
includes an indoor bathroom, indoor and outdoor showers and a
private outdoor sanctuary.
It is from here, where you will be able to gaze out onto the
floodplain and Chobe River, the lifeblood of the area.

Each of the luxury suites have a view of the legendary Chobe river
and offer the opportunity to see the famous Chobe elephants,
migrating zebra or buffalo grazing on the Caprivi floodplain below,
depending on the season.
The central guest area is built adjacent to a magnificent Baobab
and will overlook the Chobe River.
The Chobe region is teeming with game, including the famous
Chobe Elephants. There are over 75 species of mammals and 450
species of birds in this area. To take full advantage of this

Located within the Chobe Forest Reserve, we are privileged to be
able to offer guided walks with our team of experienced
professional guides who will escort you on an enthralling walk in
this game-rich enclave. Walks depart early morning and return for

Every foray into the Chobe Forest Reserve proves highly
- Game drives into the Chobe National Park - morning and
afternoon options available.
Famous for its large elephant herds Chobe National Park, which is
the second largest national park in Botswana covering some 11 700
square kilometers, has some of the largest concentrations of game
found on the continent of Africa. Game drives in this park are
legendary, with sightings of herds of more than 100 elephants at
any one time being the norm. For the birding enthusiast the Park
provides a kaleidoscope of species, in what is one of Africa's
finest birding safari locations.
- Night drives in the Chobe Forest Reserve
Depart after dinner and return at about 2230hrs-2300hrs depending
on the sightings.
- Full day safari
This safari includes a cruise on the Chobe River, a game drive in
the Chobe National Park and a sumptuous picnic lunch. Depart after
breakfast and return at approximately 1830hrs. Game drive
sightings may include literally hundreds of elephants! Often times
your vehicle may need to stop as these majestic animals cross the
road to make their way to the river. One may see up to 15 different
species of animals on any one game drive, including waterbuck,
lechwe, puku, giraffe, kudu, roan and sable, impala, warthog,
bushbuck, monkeys and baboons, as well as some predators like lion,
leopard, hyena and jackal.
Hippo, crocodile and a huge number of birds are common sightings
on the river cruise.

Spend 2 nights at Ngoma Safari Lodge in a triple suite including

Day 5-8: Xakanaxa Camp, Okavango Delta, Botswana

the owners of Xakanaxa Camp (pronounced Ka-ka-na-ka) have gone to
extraordinary lengths to preserve its original African bush camp
character, whilst always providing guests with every comfort.
Its prime location on the banks of the Khwai River on the
Xakanaxa Lagoon in the heart of the Moremi Game Reserve ensures
that it is one of the only safari camps which can provide guests
with an authentic, year round Okavango Delta land and water safari
The owner, Mr Wolfgang Burre, is one of the founding fathers of
Botswana's photographic safaris. Together with the staff of
Xakanaxa Camp he has endeavoured to maintain the classic safari
charm that makes any journey to Xakanaxa a memorable one. As one of
the very first lodges to be established in the Okavango Delta, this
small and personal safari camp is still one of the Okavango
favourites due to its superb location, fantastic game
viewing, friendly service and authentic safari style.
Big game, big birds, big water - Xakanaxa Camp, one of the
Okavango Delta's most authentic safari camps.
The camp has 12 x twin bedded tents which can be arranged as
single or double beds. Each Tent is made of canvas,
Meru-style classic luxury safari tents on raised decks with ensuite
facilities within tent - shower, hand basin and ablution
facilities. There are fans in all guest tents as well as a unique
water sprinkler system which aids cooling in the midday heat.
All tents have plug points for charging equipment, soaps, shampoos
and insect repellents are supplied in each tent, a hairdryer,
gowns, a poncho with hood and warm lining provided in each tent
for warmth/protection from rain and a Kist with a lock and key
for safekeeping of valuables.
The kitchen is renowned for its traditional safari fare served
with a Pan-African touch. Dinner is accompanied by excellent
South African wines. Meals are generally taken around the
main dining room table where tales of the day's exciting
experiences are recounted and discussed in great detail.
Guests wishing to dine in private can also be catered for. All
meals, snacks, teas, coffees, laundry, soft drinks, local-brand
spirits, house wines and beer (premium brands excluded) are
included in our nightly rates, as are all safari activities and
park entrance fees.
Daily camp activities follow a rhythmic pattern in harmony with
nature. Generally guests enjoy a light breakfast of coffee, tea,
fruit juices, cereals, muffins and fresh fruit just before dawn and
then set off on extensive safari drives, boat or mokoro outings.
Upon returning to camp three or four hours later,
enjoy brunch, including a selection of breakfast and lunch
dishes. A siesta is followed by high tea before guests set off
again on a safari activity that returns to camp approximately
half an hour after sunset. A chance to freshen up is followed
by pre-dinner cocktails and snacks, dinner and coffee and
liqueurs on the fire-deck.
Spend 4 nights at Xakanaxa Camp including Accommodation in

Day 9: Departure
Depart on a light aircraft flight 25 minutes to Maun Airport
where you will connect to your flight back to Johannesburg (flight
to JNB not included).
