The Seronera River Valley is located in central Serengeti and attracts a large variety of animals to the river. The vegetation in the area is plentiful which means herbivores like zebra, gazelle, giraffe, wildebeest and more frequent it to graze, which in turn attracts the areas predators. Migration River Crossing
You’ve perhaps seen the footage on Youtube of the Great Migration river crossings, where crocodiles lie in wait of their prey and explode into life to capture them? If so and it is something you wish to experience, then the Grumeti River near the Western Corridor is the location for you. The best time to view this incredible act of nature is between July to October.
