Samantha put together the perfect trip for us covering all the bases, Safari, Victoria Falls, Shark Diving, Canoe trips with Hippos, Cape Town etc!

18 Days was long but really worth it as it gave us time to start to better understand and appreciate animal behaviour plus a few humans as well.
The resort at Thorntree is outstanding and alone in comparison, one of the nicest resorts that we have ever stayed in and a great way to end our trip although the Vic falls trip was a surprise which will be long remembered as noted below.

We recently booked our South African safari through ASH, and can confirm they were awesome from the start.
Sam was our personal adviser and she was truly exceptional. We were undecided between SA, Botswana, Kenya and Tanzania, so Sam prepared us several quotes. She pointed us in the right direction, answering so many questions, (and there were many!)
We settled on Kruger Park, two different lodges with a bush flight connection. The cost was good value for money, as it would have cost a lot more should we have booked everything ourselves.
Using one agent for all three flights (JNB – HDS -JNB plus bush flight) and lodge bookings, saved us the hassle of arranging / paying separately.
Our trip was seamless and well beyond our expectations.
Sam was truly a pleasure to work with. We would recommend this company without hesitation.

While we enjoy the hotels, we generally consider them places to rest. However, our stays at the Saxon and Livingston were so memorable that we both agreed that these are destinations onto themselves, not merely places to stay.

We had an amazing time in South Africa and thank you so much for recommending and arranging everything along with Sheena. There was nothing we would want to change about our stay or experiences in South Africa.
The Cape Grace Hotel in Cape Town was wonderful , the staff was very friendly – our guide Charlie was fantastic and took very good care of us. The hotel is very well located too, loved the view of the waterfront from our room. Each and every restaurant which was booked for us was different and the food was absolutely wonderful and also we got the best spots and views in every restaurant.
The Exeter River Lodge was my favourite, I love how the lodge is situated in the midst of the Bush life and we had Elelphants, Hippos, Crocodiles outside our room and ofcourse the baboons which one morning stole a loaf of brad and a pot of apricot jam from the buffet table we enjoyed every bit of the lodge and i have to mention that the lodge staff everyone from the rangers , trackers, butlers and chefs too were so warm and took such good care of us. They had all sorts of surprises up their sleeves not only for us but for the other guests too.
We saw alot of animals and I have to mention that our Ranger- Justin and Tracker – Chris were amazing, infact we all called ourselves the A Team :). The tea and coffee breaks in the midst of the bush life and also our surprise easter lunch and surprise soup camp fire was amazing . They made each and every moment special for everyone. We were actually sad when we were leaving Exeter.
We thought we could not go for the morning drive the day we were leaving but they went an extra step and said we could go for two hours and then someone would pick us up from the middle and they did and we were so happy we went on that last drive because we saw two Leopards.
We have had amazing and memorable animal encounters too.
I would like to thank you and Sheena for making our honeymoon so special and one we would remember and cherish for the rest of our married life.
All the arrangements were fantastic and we had no problems.
Maldives was nice as well – we just relaxed and snorkelled alot.
After seeing the bush life we enjoyed the underwater world too.
We will be in touch for future holidays too.

I don’t know where to begin. Everything far exceeded my expectations.
Cape Town was beautiful and we were lucky the weather was great also. We fell in love with Cape Town and thought it couldn’t get better.
Then the food in Franshoeck delighted us in every meal. After a few kgs we moved on to Lion Sands where they surprised us with an upgrade to the Ivory Lodge.
The Ivory Lodge was by far the best and most luxurious hotel both of us had ever seen. We thought those kind of hotels only existed on the American Express Centurion travel brochures J. Not to mention the greatest service we have ever received as well. Needless to say we didn’t want to leave Lion Sands.
Everything was great and then Camp Jabulani kept the same standards. We were the only guests at the hotel so they treated us like royalty. Then the Doreal Grand was a great hotel too. You didn’t mention that it had a casino. That was a great surprise.
We won some money on the Blackjack tables which was a first for me since Vegas always takes my money.
